Kruser’s Local Catch

There’s grit. There’s substance. And there’s truth. It’s a simple recipe for Charlie Chronopoulos. With well-worn vocals that gravel through candor, and lyrics that dig deep, this artist has all the right ingredients. Get to know my Local Catch of the Week, Charlie Chronopoulos from Tyngsboro. Listen to his music and find out where to see him performing live, all right here.

Charlie grew up in Tyngsboro and now calls Peterborough, New Hampshire home. But by the sounds of it Johnny Cash and Steve Earle were never far from home. Charlie’s latest release, “Don’t Say a Thing” conjures up all the outlaw and folk country feels. There are traces of Zach Bryan in it’s rawness. It’s an honest, emotional portrayal of a heart broken. Nothing new in the world of music, but Chronopoulos delivers a fresh, unvarnished take on it.

Listening to local artists music is a great way to support their art. You can also do so by going to see  them performing live and getting to know them through internet searches, their social media sites and of course, here.  Remember every one of the country stars you hear on Country 1025 started out in their hometowns and home states. They began their careers playing for smaller crowds in clubs, restaurants and backyards. They sang their hearts out on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube before making it big. So get to know my Local Catch of the Week: Charlie Chronopoulous from Tyngsboro, MA. He’s an impressive musician, singer and songwriter. And the proof is all here, below.
