It’s been about 5 years since I first spotlighted the music of Vinny B. This singer/songwriter from Hudson, Massachusetts has worked tirelessly in one of the toughest industries, and yet never seem to lose his sense of hope or passion for his craft. If anything he seems to have thrived. Vinny has grown tremendously as an artist, in this time.

Vinny’s love of music and performing started early. In the third grade he felt the pull to pursue music. There were piano lessons, voice lessions, a Belmont University music degree. Endless gigs, late nights, writing sessions, booking and promoting…It all led to here. Vinny is a full time working musician.

A stint on Netflix Sing On! was a thrill for this artist. In between all the hard work, Vinny found love and marriage. He recently married the love of his life, Andrea. His latest song, “Kickin’ It” is a soulful, vibey jam. Vinny B’s music seems to exude joy, and isn’t that what we are looking for, at the end of the day?

“Kickin It” from Vinny B came out on May 1, 2022. He said, ” I wanted to write just a feel good song with nothing crazy where you could just kick it with that someone you love and just enjoy the little things.”

How would you describe your sound: Versatile. I make more bro country but am diving into the rock/outlaw country.

Who inspires you: Morgan Wallen, Rascal Flatts, Hunter Hayes

If you are a band, how did you get your name: I have my band but we just go by the Vinny B Band

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing: Pro Gamer obviously

Most proud moment: Performing for Chris Stapleton, Getting my gold ticket on The X Factor, or making my Netflix debut on Sing On!

Crazy thing that happened in your music career: I got an autographed Mike Ditka Poster as a tip.

Other things you like to do: Video Games, anything sports

Name at least 3 frivolous fun facts about you: I wrestled for 12 years including college. I love collecting Disney stuff, I just got married on October 7th 2022
