Great things happen when we “Come Together.” It certainly has been a “Long and Winding Road” to get here. So many generous people have donated their time and talents to make this livestream event happen. The driving force behind this fundraising concert has been singer/songwriter Samantha Rae and drummer/songwriter Jay Dellisola, who founded The Country Women Cancer Fund. Their love and respect of the local country artists, desire to make a difference and raise money for cancer research, and admiration of the Beatles took them to Abbey Road Studios in London for their 90th anniversary, and to this incredible event. On this “Day in the Life,” Samantha takes us on a tour of London, while introducing some of our favorite local country singers performing a Beatles song of their choice. I’ll be introducing some of the artists too, from stateside.
This is going to be a very cool night, and all for a great cause. Please, “Don’t Let Me Down,” and join me, and a long list of New England favorites to help raise much needed funds for the incredible work they do at the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center. Watch, donate and bid on some awesome auction items.
Thank you to our proud partner, New England Country Music
All proceeds benefit the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This is a 100% volunteer effort by the artists.
The film is proudly partnered by Country 102.5 and New England Country Music.
