A new study has revealed a surprising fact: Massachusetts golfers drink the least beer of every state’s golfers besides Utah. Say whaaaaaaaaaaaa?
I don’t know about you and/or your friends but my Massachusetts resident friends do a pretty good job at being nice and fuzzy by hole three. Yup, those were probably my friends causing a scene at the ball washer.
PicksWise polled 1,500 American golfers and 1,000 golfers from the UK and first of all one glaring difference in alcohol consumption during golfing is that Americans love the alcohol side of the game while across the pond drinking doesn’t really go hand-in-hand with golfing as much. In America though, wooooo! Especially in the south. Those golfers down there must wear those old school double beer helmets with the silly straws going from the top of your head beers directly to your mouth. I used to wear one of those to drink sodas back in the day. Probably why I had so many childhood cavities.
So here’s what we’ll do, I’ll give you the Top 5 States that Drink the Most While Golfing then I’ll let you know how every state in New England ranked and how much beer they chug while driving and putting through 18 holes.
While we don’t use alcohol as much as golfers in other states, we in Massachusetts sure are using the A.I. The world is scared that artificial intelligence will lead to the end of civilization and Massachusetts residents are like, “whatever, what can these robots do for me??” LOL. Check out that study RIGHT HERE.
OK let’s get to the drinkin’ and golfin’ – or as we apparently say in Massachusetts – the tiny-sippin’ and golfin’ (yeah right):
