You’re here! You pulled the trigger and decided to dive in and meet a talented country rock artist. So happy you did. Allow me to introduce you to the New England band Trigger South, my Local Catch of the Week.

Trigger South is made up of 5 musicians from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. How did they find each other and come up with the name? You’ll find out that and much more below.

Like you, I’m just getting to know the guys. But I can tell you just from listening to a few of their songs, these musicians work hard and play hard. What I love about their sound is how organic it is. I feel like I’m listening to them performing live, together, at once and in my living room. Think country garage band, elevated. That’s a compliment.

New England Band Trigger South Giving Off Vibes

So many recordings today sound over produced. But when you listen to Trigger South, the music feels so real, so genuine. These boys are out to have a good time and make sure you do the same. And it shows, in their songs. Their realistic vibe draws parallels to bands like country music’s The Old 97s, or even rock legends The Standells. Their classic song “Dirty Water” is a great example of a live sounding track. Trigger South is sympatico artists coming together to create an authentic sound.

Take a listen to New England band Trigger South and their original song,  You.” I think you’ll understand the authenticity I’m referring to. You’ll find out some interesting facts about a band who loves performing live and is set to drop an EP any day. Supporting our local artists is crucial, not just for their art but for our entertainment.

New England is like a well stocked lake full of talented musicians. These singer/songwriters give it their all on a daily basis, the least we can do is listen, learn and show up. Enjoy getting to know Trigger South and supporting their journey.
