There’s alot more behind the reigning CMA and ACM Award winning Vocal Group of the Year thank their vocals. Yes, there’s the legendary live performances, the shows at Gillette Stadium with Kenny Chesney and a catalog of hits to hear. But, did you know Old Dominion wrote all 13 of these big hit songs for other artists?

Lead singer, Matthew Ramsey, along with his bandmates Trevor Rosen, Whit Sellers, Geoff Sprung and Brad Tursi have been writing songs for other artists since they moved to Nashville. Matthew, Trevor and Brad have amassed the most songwriting credits in the band. They’ve written for their good friend Kenny Chesney, along with country superstars Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini and more.  Take a look at all the hit songs co-written with some of the Old Dominion guys here, below.

The band got their name from the state of Virginia’s nickname. Four of the five guys in the group have ties to Virginia. Ramsey and Sellers are both originally from Virginia. Sellers met Sprung and Tursi while at James Madison University in Virginia. Rosen is the only member with no connection to the state. Together, the band has released 4 studio albums and amassed 12 hit songs for themselves. But, take a look at these Old Dominion songs written for other artists.
