Apparently, Buzz Lightyear has been wandering the streets of Fall River. That is, until the Animal Rescue League of Boston came in and saved the little Tabby.

Pictures and videos of a 6 month old orange tabby kitten have been making national news, after the tiny feline got her head stuck in a round glass jar. According to Boston.com, the cat was fittingly named Buzz Lightyear. Buzz is a Disney character from the Toy Story movies. He is a space ranger who wears a round glass helmet.

NECN reported that a Danforth Street resident called Animal Control in Fall River, who contacted the ARL. They came and were able to get little Buzz’s head out of the jar. Mission complete. “To infinity and beyond!” Well, not quite.  The article says Buzz is now getting treatment at the ARL’s Dedham Animal Care and Adoption Center, Buzz is not quite ready for adoption yet, but will eventually be.
