Depression is a serious medical illness that many of us deal with on a daily basis. According to the World Health Organization more than 264 million people worldwide suffer from depression. According to a study commissioned by CEUfast, an accredited nursing education provider, Massachusetts has one of the most depressed cities in the country.

CEUfast used multiple pools of data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to put together a list of the 50 most depressed cities currently in the United States.

New England fared fairly well – only logging 4 cities in the Top 50 rankings, Massachusetts only accounting for a single entry. Which city? Read on.
