Here we are in the dog days of summer. We are busier than ever, running around trying to squeeze as much summer fun in as possible. Who has time to cook? So  in celebration of National Chili Dog Day, we are here to celebrate a classic American delight. You can thank me later for sharing the 13 best spots to grab a chili dog in Massachusetts.

From the North Shore, to the South Shore, downtown to metro west, we love our dogs!  Some of these suggestions are full restaurants, with bars that serve chili dogs. And some are classic hot dog stands. Trust me, you will be salivated for a flavorful, savory serving of chili on a dog in no time at all. Even in a heatwave, a chili dog is the perfect food because it’s so filling. That beautiful dog, nestled neatly in a bun and topped with a sloppy serving of chili, is a meal!

The 13 best spots to grab a chili dog in Massachusetts shows you where to go, what to order and links to their websites, in most cases. Some of these places are just stands and don’t bother with fancy websites or social media. Grab a napkin and get ready to dive into deliciousness. Take a look at some of the best chili dog spots in the state. You’ll find them here, in no particular order.
