Forbes is out with their annual list of the 400 richest people in the United States. 7 Massachusetts residents made the list. Some of the names will be familiar. Others have flown under the radar until now.

  • #7: Amos Hostetter, Jr.

Worth $3.4 billion, the 79 year old TV pioneer made his money back in the 90s in cable television.

  • #5: Robert Hale, Jr.

The youngest on this list at 56, he founded Granite Telecommunications.

One of only 2 females on the list, she is the granddaughter of Edward Johnson II who started Fidelity Investments.

  • #3: Edward Johnson IV

Yep, you guessed it.  This is his grandson.

Probably the most familiar face of the bunch, the Patriots owner since 1994 is said to be worth $10.6 billion.  Plus he has some pretty cool rings.
