There’s still time to get in some big summer fun, before it’s back-to-school time. The Marshfield Fair is here with rides exhibits, music and fun! But, you know there’s so much more! There are games, pumpkins, live action sporting events like the demolition derby, truck pulling, horse pulling and motocross. We can’t forget all that delicious food! The music, live entertainment, exhibits, arts and crafts, 4-H, agricultural and horticultural events, as well as food, rides games and fun all kicked off last Friday and continues through August 27! You will see some very familiar names on the live music schedule. The giant pumpkins may be a sign of Fall, but the Marshfield Fair is all about the summer fun. Find out about getting tickets, the live entertainment lineup and more, here. This highly anticipated South Shore annual event is a popular attraction, so don’t miss your shot at summer fun before it’s over. The Marshfield Fair is here with rides, exhibits,  music and fun!

The humble beginnings of this beloved event started as an agricultural and horticultural gathering way back in 1862. It’s main goals were to “educated, develop, improve and promote their arts and related fields,” according to their website. It was originally called the South Marshfield Farmer’s Club. Those goals, and far beyond, continue every August through the annual Marshfield Fair. Today it’s known as a great family event that offers something for everyone, from carnival rides to farm animals, horticultural exhibits to live music. So, dig in…get everything you need to know right here.
