… I’m not gonna tell you yet. I want you to make a mental guess. Think of your daily commute to work – what makes and models of cars do you recall seeing the most. I can tell you what I see: lots of black, white, silver, and grey. Why can’t we have fun colors?? I’m always so jealous when I see a person driving the color I wanted but couldn’t get because all they had on the lot (or available to them) were silver and grey. Because of this I currently have 3 grey SUVs parked in my driveway and I often get into the wrong car since they all look the same!!
And to answer my own question – I’ve heard they’re all those colors for two reasons: 1) they’re the most popular and 2) those “safe” colors are thought to be less likely to be pulled over by the police than a flashy eye-catching color. Is there truth to this? Who knows. Let’s stick with option #1.
