It’s almost time for America’s oldest country fair, The Topsfield Fair! This year will mark the 205th running of the popular annual event held on the fairgrounds in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Hundreds of thousands of fun-seekers will make their way through the gate to enjoy oodles of activities from competitions to demonstrations. Starting September 29 it’s all about the fun, fried dough and ferris wheels. So grab your tickets and make your plans now. It all starts this Friday. The Topsfield Fair is back with food, rides, giant pumpkins, live music and more!
This year’s Topsfield Fair is highlighted with a concert by country music star Clay Walker. The “If I Could Make A Living” star takes the stage October 6th. Other concerts include Starship, with special guest Foghat, The Drifters, and The Coasters and The Platters together for one night in Topsfield. All shows are free, with your Fair admission ticket.
If you crave action, you’ll want to see the demolition derby, the racing pigs and check out all the amusement rides. The Topsfield Fair is also famous for their giant pumpkin weigh-in, horse shows, and baking competitions. You do not want to miss out on all the fabulous foods at the Fair.
