The Red Sox are Boston's hometown team so it may not surprise you that many celebrities that are from Boston are Red Sox fans. Celebrities like Ben Affleck and Matt Damon come to mind.
There was even a movie made starring Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore (Fever Pitch) describing the obsession Red Sox fans have with their team. That movie was filmed here in Boston and became quite the fan favorite. Whether the team is winning or losing, these celebrities stand by the Sox no matter what.
