There is no worse feeling than your favorite show coming to an end… but how awesome is it when your favorite show comes back? These TV reboots of your favorite shows are finally here, and with some of the original cast members!
I don’t know about you, but it was really hard for me to say goodbye to John Snow when “Game Of Thrones” ended, but now we are hearing that there is John Snow series in the works. With the new “House Of The Dragon” GOT spin-off show, we really get to know the history of the Targaryens and their rise to power.
From the new “Lord Of The Rings” spin-off to the new “Sex In The City” show, TV fans are being spoiled. Check out this list of our favorite TV reboots/spin-offs that add a fresh spin to our old favorites.
Frasier
Beloved American sitcom that was broadcast on NBC for 11 seasons. It has recently been announced that Frasier is officially returning with a reboot starring Kelsey Grammer! There is no official release date but they are aiming for late 2023 and will stream exclusively on Paramount +.
Velma
“Velma” is a new adult animated series about Velma Dinkley from the original “Scooby-Doo.” Velma will be played by Mindy Kaling. Velma will be streaming on HBO Max in 2023.

This show is the story of House Targaryen set 200 before “Game Of Thrones.” This spin-off show came out in August and is airing episodes every Sunday on HBO.

The Rings Of Power
The “Lord of The Rings” spin-off “Rings Of Power” is set thousands of years before the movie trilogy. The show first came out in September and is currently airing episodes every Friday on Amazon Prime.
Bel-Air
The popular sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, starring Will Smith is back starring an all new cast. Jabari Banks is playing a character named “Will Smith.” Available on Peacock.
Gossip Girl
The new Gossip Girl premiered in July, 2021 on HBO Max with the original creators on board.
Don’t worry, Kristen Bell is back as the narrator. With season one already done, the series has officially been renewed for season two. A release date has not been confirmed yet.

The “Sex In The City” ten episode reboot “And Just Like That…” is available on HBO Max.
The series features popular characters from the original season including: Sara Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. Season two has officially been announced and will premiere in 2023.
How I Met Your Father
“How I Met Your Father” is the sequel to “How I Met Your Mother” starring Hilary Duff. Season one is available to watch on Hulu and has been renewed for a second season.
The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina
This is not the typical story of beloved tv show character Sabrina Spellman, and her talking cat, Salem. This is a reimaged and much darker version of Sabrina’s struggle between her half-which and non-mortal life.
While Melissa Joan Hart (original Sabrina) is not in this show, Kiernan Shipka does an incredible job. You can watch all 4 seasons of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix.
Pretty Little Liars (Original Sin)
“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” premiered in July 22 on HBO Max, and has been renewed for a second season. The original show wrapped five years ago but the new show is full a drama and secrets.

This is the third spin off of the popular “Pretty Little Liars” franchise. The other two are called Ravenswood and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, which each only ran for one season.
Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life
The highly anticipated reboot of Gilmore Girls is set almost a decade after the finale of the original series. It takes you through a year in the life of TV’s most beloved mother/daughter duo, Rory and Lorelai Gilmore. Don’t worry, grandma is in this one too!

“Girl Meets World” is a spinoff of beloved American sitcom, “Boy Meets World.” Several Boy Meets World characters reprise their roles in this series. The show follows Cory and Topanga’s daughter around New York City.

Charmed
This 2018 Reboot and ran for four seasons ono the CW. No characters from the original show were involved in this reboot. This is available to watch on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Hbo Max, and Disney+.
iCarly
The 2021 reboot of “iCarly” stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress all reprising their original roles. There are currently two seasons available to watch on Paramount+ and a third season is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder
“The Proud Famil”y originally aired on Disney Channel from 2001-2005. In this revival, many of the show’s original voice cast will reprise their roles, including Kyla Pratt.
Season one of the reboot came out in February 2022 and can be watched on disneyplus.com. Season two is set to come out in 2023.
The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder
Over 20 years after the “Fairly Odd Parents” made its debut, a reboot “The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder” is here! This live action/ animated series follows Nickelodeon’s original animated series.
In this new show Timmy Turner gives his fairy godparents to little cousin as he goes off to college. Season one is available to watch on paramountplus.com
Veronica Mars
A season four of hit show “Veronica Mars” was brought back in 2019 to continue the story. Kristen Bell is back as Veronica Mars as well as several other characters. You can watch all eight episodes on Hulu.
Fuller House
“Fuller House” is the sequel to the popular 90’s television series “Full House” and stars most of its original cast. In this reboot, D.J. Tanner is raising her children in her fathers old house. You can watch all five seasons of this show on Netflix
The Carrie Diaries
“The Carrie Diaries” is a prequel to “Sex In The City” telling the story of a young Carrie Bradshaw. This was canceled by the CW after two seasons but you can watch them on CW.
BH90210 (2019)
This 2019 Reboot of 90210, “BH9021” was canceled by Fox after only ONE season. It featured many original cast members playing themselves instead of their original characters. You can watch this on Prime Video, Vudu, or Apple TV.
