Tim McGraw’s movies are now ranked, just for you!

Tim McGraw is no stranger to the stage. But, at some point in his exciting music career, he diverted from the stage to the silver screen. In 2004 he starred in his first film, Friday Night Lights. His acting was stellar! Over the years he’s had roles in The Blind Side, Flicka, and Country Strong. He was even unrecognizable in the movie Four Christmases because he had gained 25 pounds to play the role of Dallas. And we can’t forget his star-studded role as James Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel, 1883. He acted next to his wife, Faith Hill, who played the role of Margaret Dutton.

Over the years he has also acted alongside Sandra Bullock, Vince Vaughn, Octavia Spencer, Sam Elliot, Reese Witherspoon and more of the most talented actors in Hollywood.

Tim McGraw’s New Media Venture

And soon, Tim McGraw is venturing further into Hollywood, launching a media company called ‘Down Home’ with backing from Skydance Media. The new company is described as a new entertainment, media, and marketing company. Of course it will be based in Nashville. Tim McGraw is launching Down Home with his management company and a social content studio.

Among Skydance’s big commercial successes are Top Gun: Maverick, as well as television projects including Reacher and Grace and Frankie on Netflix. Down Home already has two scripted series in development with Skydance, and McGraw has a clear vision for what he wants to focus on.

According to the press release, Tim McGraw says, “Country music has always been about storytelling. Our stories are honest vignettes of life and family and community. I think there’s a longing for that. For me, that’s Down Home. That’s how I grew up, those are the stories I like to tell, and that’s what I want our company to be about.”

We can’t wait to see what he will release with his own company! Go get em’ Tim!

  • 10. Dirty Girl

Dirty Girl, released in 2010, only has 3/5 stars on IMBD. It’s not his best work, which is why it’s falling in last place.

Honestly, this is one of the most annoying Christmas movies I’ve ever seen, but Tim McGraw plays a great role as the annoying younger brother of Vince Vaughn’s character. Tim even gained 25 pounds to play the role, and it really made a difference. Because I find that living room scene to be soooo annoying, It’s not getting ranked higher.
