That’s right it’s time for this week’s exploration in remorse: Apologies of the Week! Should Tom Brady apologize? How about Kristen Bell? Well read on to find out.

  • 1. Tom Brady apologizes to a tablet

Tom Brady smashed a tablet while playing against The Saints on Sunday. We’ve all been there but few of us have been able to afford to go through with it. That’s what 7 rings and the gift of immortality gets you. Well he felt sorry for it at least.  “Sorry for breaking that tablet,” he said, joking, “I think that’s going to be another Twitter meme or something like that.”

  • 2. Kristen Bell apologizes to every parent

Kristen bell apologized to parents everywhere for them being subjected to Frozen and Frozen 2 on a loop for all of eternity (or at least until their children outgrow it).  She said “I would like to say that I’m sorry to every parent who has had to listen to ‘Frozen’ on a loop. I feel you, I see you, I am you. I get it. Disney taught me to dream big and follow your heart. And that it is totally appropriate to bust out into song at any moment, which I really appreciate. Playing Princess Anna has been the highlight of my life I think — I mean other than my kids and stuff.

  • 3. Radio host apologizes for body shaming Blue Jays player

Mathew Ross who is the host of a weekend sports talk show The Weekend Game Plan mocked player Alejandro Kirk in a way that a lot of people interpreted as body shaming of the player. Said Ross “I thought the clip would lead to more jokes about the sport. That was it. It was never about anything else,” he wrote in his apology. “As someone who experienced the horrors of bullying, and who has seen people close to me deal with very painful body related struggles, my heart broke that anyone could think of me as this monster.”

  • 4. DirecTV apologizes to NFL for ruining Sunday two weeks in a row

While Brady was smashing tablets you may have wanted to smash your own tv if you are a DirecTV customer and an NFL fan.

Their stream for NFL Sunday ticket failed for the second week in a row forcing fans to live like the rest of us, watching game at a time and checking their phones for updates. THE HORROR.

“While NFL Sunday Ticket on our traditional satellite service performed as expected over the past two weeks, some consumers were temporarily unable to stream. We apologize to our customers for this experience and for any inconvenience.”
