I know a LOT of hard workers in New England. You’re probably one of them, right? Right. Well unfortunately the fine people at WalletHub think we, my fellow New Englanders, are a bunch of slackers. Only one New England state made their new Top 10 list of States With the Hardest Workers. Which one? Read on. (3 New England states made the bottom 10 BTW. Ugg.)
They used 10 metrics in 2 main categories to judge the states and compile their countdown – everything from average workweek hours to share of households where no adults work to average commute time to average leisure time spent per day was factored in.
And here are the results from #50 (least hardest working) to #1 (most hardest working):
