Boston's MGM Music Hall at Fenway is one of the city's newest and most exciting concert venues, often brining country music's biggest artists to the heart of the Fenway Park area. With a state-of-the-art setup and a prime location on Lansdowne Street, it's a music-visit for concert fans. Here's everything you should know before heading to a show at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway.

🚗 Parking Near MGM Music Hall at Fenway

Since MGM Music Hall is right next to Fenway Park, parking can be tricky - especially on game days or if there is another event happening. Here are some of the best options:

  • Lansdowne Garage - Directly behind the venue and the most convenient choice.
  • Prudential Center Garage- It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the venue, but often has a great deal for parking.
  • Street Parking - There are limited metered spots available, but they fill up quickly. Always make sure you check signage for restrictions.

Pro Tip: The last time I went to a concert in the Fenway Park area, I used the SpotHero app to reserve a cheap parking spot in one of the private lots near Fenway. It was the easiest parking experience I've ever had. You could try the ParkWhiz app as well.

🚆 Public Transportation to MGM Music Hall

Taking the MBTA is often the easiest way to get to the MGM Music Hall, especially on busy nights.

  • The T: Take the Green Line (B, C, or D) to Kenmore or Fenway stations. Both are just a short walk to the venue.
  • Commuter Rail: The Framingham/Worcester Line stops as Lansdowne Station, just a few steps away.
  • Bus: The No. 55 and #8 buses stop near Fenway and can be convenient depending on your location.

🍽️ Where to Eat Before the Concert

The Fenway area has no shortage of great places to grab some food before heading into your concert at the MGM Music Hall. Here are some good option:

  • Bleacher Bar - A unique bar under the bleachers of Fenway Park with a view of the field.
  • Loretta's Last Call - This is directly across from the venue with great Southern-style food. They often have live music.
  • Cask N' Flagon - A classic Fenway bar with a good sized menu.

🎶 Final Concert Tips

  • Arrive Early - Doors typically will open one hour before showtime.
  • Check the Bag Policy - Small clear bags are allowed, but backpacks are not. Check their policy for specifics on sizes.
  • Merchandise Sells Fast - If you want tour merch, buy it early before items sell out.
  • Plan Your Exit - The post-show crowd at Kenmore and Fenway stations can be hectic. Know your times and routes.
