Luke Combs sang “Fast Car” on Saturday night, but he wasn’t the only one who joined him on stage to sing his current #1 song.
Luke Combs put on an amazing show at Gillette Stadium on Saturday Night. The stadium was packed! Everyone inside the stadium and outside in the parking lots had a great time.
Lainey Wilson, our new country music sweetheart, got the party started. She had the entire crowd singing along to her hits, “Heart Like A Truck,” and “Get In The Truck.” Wait a minute, she has a lot of songs about trucks doesn’t she?
Riley Green kept it going strong, and even at one point signed a football and threw it into the crowd. Whoever caught that ball is a lucky person!
By the time Luke hit the stage around 9:00pm, the place was ready to explode!
Cooper’s Big Moment On Stage
Cooper’ life was changed that night. Little Cooper was there as part of the Make-A-Wish program. Cooper got to go up on stage and sing “Fast Car” with his idol Luke Combs. Obviously the whole stadium went crazy when he did it. And Cooper did an amazing job too!
When Cooper was done singing a chorus of the song, Luke leaned down and gave him a big bear hug. He encouraged Cooper to take a bow for the audience. That’s when Luke got on the microphone and said, “He said he wants me to finish. He’s gonna stay up here with me.”

The Make-A-Wish foundation was started in 1980 to provide wishes for children with critical illnesses. The foundation has granted over half a million wishes for children in over 50 countries. John Cena alone has granted over 650 wishes.
The Rise Of Luke Combs And “Fast Car”
Tracy Chapman originally released “Fast Car” in 1988. Luke has been covering it as part of his show for years, but this year he finally released it to radio. The song is now his biggest hit on both country and pop radio. The song went to #1 on both charts, and he and Morgan Wallen are now the first set of country artists in 40 years to hold the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.

The party didn’t stop all night at Gillette. Well, technically Gillette has an 11pm curfew. But you know what we mean 🙂
