So, opening day at Fenway Park wasn’t what we hoped for. Despite a valiant comeback late in the game, it was a disappointing loss, to say the least. But if you stuck with the boys in the red stockings through the weekend, you would seen some heroics. Late in the game on Saturday and there were triumphs over turmoil, as the Sox fought hard and got lucky. On Sunday, the bats were alive earlier and more often, as Boston took the series over Baltimore. Adam Duvall didn’t have a great opening day with his new team, then again, no Red Sox player did. But on day 2, game 2, it was a different story. The outfielder went 4 for 5 with a walk-off home run. On Sunday, Duvall’s bat stayed hot. He had 3 hits, which included 2 doubles and his 2 run single broke a tie in the 5th inning.
