Being invited to join the Grand Ole Opry is one of country music’s greatest honors. Don’t believe us? Check out Chris Young‘s reaction when Vince Gill did just that earlier this week in Nashville.

As Chris prepared to deliver “Sober Saturday Night,” which Vince Gill performed on, the latter appeared on stage with plaques commemorating gold and platinum status for the song. “I never got paid for that session,” Gill joked before offering Chris a “deal.” “I’ll tell you what … I’ll forgive the session fees if you’ll be the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.”
