He’s not backing down, or backing away from the tragedy that took place in Vegas during his set October 1st at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Jason Aldean has officially released his cover of Tom Petty’s iconic, “I Won’t Back Down,” to raise money for the survivors and victims’ families. All proceeds go to the Direct Impact Fund. The single was recorded live when Jason made a surprise appearance on NBC’s Saturday Night Live and is available for purchase on most digital platforms. Click HERE to download and donate. It’s a powerful and respectful way for Aldean to honor those who lost their lives, those who were injured in Vegas, and the late rock legend, Tom Petty, who died a day after the shooting.
