A Wall Of Inspiration In Sox Manager Alex Cora’s Office
You’ve likely heard about the wall. Located in an office at Fenway Park, this wall is providing much more than images to fill empty space. This wall is indirectly providing inspiration and igniting fire to an already scorching red hot Red Sox season. It’s genius, really…when you think about it. Early in the season, manager Alex Cora started decorating a wall in his office with a photo from each winning game, capturing a pivotal moment in the game. I have no idea if his initial intentions were meant to inspire, but that is certainly happening. This could be a lesson to all leaders in work and in life. Spotlight, highlight, shed light upon what is good, what is working… and show it off! It all goes back to your elementary school report card on the fridge, or your artwork displayed in your classroom. Cora is proud of his team and shows it with every win. That wall is filling up fast, with 79 wins in the bank, this team is on track to break records. And Alex is on track to score a bigger office.
