Though it seems like we were just replenishing our sunscreen, our beach days are starting to wind down and it’s time to talk fall fashion! We chat trends with Lime Crime’s Brand Marketing Director, Kady Rick.
What trends are you seeing for Fall 2018?
- Thick, voluminous brows… say ‘goodbye’ to fake looking brows!
- Powerful, bold lips.
- Even if it’s not trending, wear whatever makes you feel good – who knows maybe you’ll start the next trend!
What are some of your favorite Lime Crime products?
This is the hardest question because I love all of our products! Plushies in Milk Tea (a sheer mauve) has become my favorite everyday lip color. I love that Plushies contain a soft focus formula that enhances natural lip color while making your lips look as plush as a teddy bear! I alternate between Plushies and our new Wet Cherry Gloss. The next-level shine is so lightweight and comfortable. A super shiny gloss is so refreshing on the lips after years of mattes.
Can you share some application tips?
- There are no rules in makeup application… wear what you want however you want! The one rule I do live by is to ALWAYS moisturize your lips before applying lipstick. I like to do a lip scrub and apply lip balm about 15 minutes prior to application.
