Carrie And Company Celebrate Iconic Women
In case you missed it last week, CMT’s annual “Artists of the Year” special honored the women of country music and their undeniable influence.For those who came before, those making their mark now and to to future of country music, CMT showed female artists the love. Honorees this year are Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman. One of the great performances of the night had Carrie and her soon-t0-be baby, and soon-to-be tour mates, Maddie and Tae and Runaway June, killing it on stage to honor their heroes.
