Carrie Underwood has kicked off her “Cry Pretty” tour with opening acts Runaway June and Maddie and Tae. She shared a sweet story on Twitter this weekend ahead of the California dates of her tour. Apparently her son Isaiah has developed a crush on Maddie and Tae singer Maddie Marlow. She went on to say “”This morning my 4-year-old, who hates wearing jeans, asked to wear jeans so he could “look cute for Maddie.” He also asked me to fix his hair and to get him some flowers that he could give to her. Don’t you break his heart @MaddieMarlow !!!”

Trouble may be brewing behind the scenes for the cast of last year’s “Crazy Rich Asians”. Gemma Chan, one of the movies stars, shocked fans by liking a tweet trashing her costar Constance Wu. On Friday, after her sitcom “Fresh Off The Boat” was renewed by ABC, Wu voiced her displeasure with the direction of the show. An Entertainment Reporter named Yasher Ali responded with a tweet saying “Constance Wu’s conduct today comes as no surprise to anyone who has worked with her in recent years. She has a reputation for being rude, petty, mean-spirited, and ungrateful.” While he later apologized and deleted the tweet, Gemma Chan liked the tweet before he could do so. Both Wu and Chan are now doing damage control, which Chan insisting the like was an accident, and Wu saying that she loves working on “Fresh Off The Boat” and was simply upset that another season would require her to pass on another project she was excited about.

Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane celebrated Mother’s Day by adding to the family. The released a picture on Instagram of Morgane holding a new baby, the couple’s fifth child. They did not release any information with the picture, so its gender and name are still a mystery. But that isn’t unusual as Chris has never publicly announced the names of any of their children. Chris and Morgane already had three sons and one daughter, having had twin boys just last year. Morgane became pregnant again just seven months after giving birth to the twins.
