Tiger Woods is throwing shade at a fellow competitor
The first wave of CMT performers have been announced. CMT’s official twitter posted the lineup yesterday under the title “Who’s ready to party?! Here’s a line-up of some of your favorite performers at this year’s #CMTAwards!”. Announced performers include Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett. CMT promised more performers will be announced soon and that this year’s show will have more all star performances than ever before. The show will be on June 5th at 8PM. Little Big Town will host live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

HBO is gearing up for the final episode ever of “Game of Thrones” coming up Sunday night. But fans who have been unpleased with this season, and especially last week’s next-to-last episode, have started an online petition for a Season 8 Redo. A Change.Org petition is asking for the entire season to be rewritten and shot with “competent writers” and a new team of showrunners. Complaints listed on the petition include the fact that the past three seasons have diverted from the original source material written by George R.R. Martin. Martin is yet to publish the next edition of his “Song of Ice and Fire” series, on which the show is based, so writers have had to improvise plot lines. Another complaint is that showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have cashed in their success to score a job working on the next Star Wars and they are mailing in the final season to focus on their new jobs. Currently over 26,000 people have signed the petition.
Lauren Alaina has shocked fans by announcing that she is dating comedian John Crist. Alaina, who has had a rocky year, lost her stepfather to cancer a few months ago. Shortly after, she announced that he had called off her engagement to her high school sweetheart. According to the new couple, Alaina watched one of Crist’s comedy videos and commented on it on Instagram. Crist says he didn’t know who Alaina was, but saw that she was twitter verified so he looked into her and ended up “sliding into her DM’s”. Alaina also confirmed that she is the first girl to ever meet Crist’s mother. And the couple joked about the fact that Crist, who is 35 is closer in age to Alaina’s 45 year old mother than to Alaina who is 24.

Tiger Woods held a press conference on Tuesday about his recent PGA Championship. While he initially hesitated, he then let loose on what he thinks is a poor decision by the Pro Golfers Association of America. He complained that fellow golfer John Daly is allowed to use a golf cart while on the tour. Daly, who has been very open about the golf cart being the only way he can compete, drives with a handicapped license plate. He says that if he attempted to walk, he would have to forfeit before the sixth hole due to immense swelling in his knees when he walks. Tiger’s simple response at his press conference was “I walked with a broken leg, so…..”
Constance Wu has been under fire all week for her reaction to the renewal of her show “Fresh Off The Boat” for another season . But now more rumors are surfacing about her diva behavior. Unnamed sources on her new movie “Hustlers” spoke with the New York Post’s “Page Six” and described her diva antics on set. Multiple people stated that on a movie set where she costars with Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B, Constance Wu is by far the biggest diva. One source quoted in the article said “She’s a total piece of work. She thinks it’s OK to treat people badly and say out loud whatever comes to her. She’s the new Katherine Heigl, and if she’s not careful, her movie career will go in the same direction”

Heather Locklear has returned to rehab. According to her publicist, she re-entered the in-patient facility that she had checked into just before Christmas. Sources have said that she left on a three day pass for Christmas but never returned, and because it’s a voluntary program she wasn’t required to return. After four months back off the wagon, Locklear’s 21 year old daughter Ava talked her into going back. Sources say that her hard drinking and pill use have combined with an already shaky mental health situation to push her back into dangerous territory. The same source reveals that Locklear has been in rehab between 20 and 25 times over the course of her life, but she never takes it seriously so she always ends up going back.
Former basketball star Lamar Odom has released a new book called “Darkness To Light”. In it, he details his life long battle with sex addiction, even during the years he was married to Khloe Kardashian. He claims to have had sex with over 2,000 women and says that “there were too many strippers to count”. He says that during his marriage, he attempted to stop but eventually “ran out of porn” and turned to drugs, which only made the problem worse. Khloe has yet to respond to the book.
