Grumpy Cat has died. Her owner, Tabatha Bundesen from Morristown, Arizona, took to Instagram last night to announce to Grumpy Cat’s 2.4 million followers that her cat, real name Tardar Sauce, had died at 7 years old. She explained that the cause of death was complications from a urinary tract infection. Grumpy Cat rose to fame in 2012 when her initial YouTube video racked up 12.4 million views, spawning one of the internet’s original memes. Several books and a made-for-TV movie followed, as well as an endorsement deal for Friskies and her own line of iced coffee called “Grumppuccino”, all of which added to Grumpy Cat’s estimated net worth of over $100 million.

Kelly Ripa is doubling down on her controversial statements about “The Bachelor” in which she said she finds the show “disgusting”. After that Mike Fleiss, producer of “The Bachelor” clapped back, tweeting at Ripa to slow her role because “our show pays your salary”. And now, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo, one of the highest paid actors on ABC is weighing in as well. She came after Fleiss in twitter, saying “Your show does NOT pay (Kelly Ripa’s) salary. Also we don’t attack successful women on our network and men certainly cannot take credit for their success. Don’t get me started on your show cuz I’m a savage….” She ended the tweet by tagging it #bachelorsooooowhite
Easy, @KellyRipa ... #TheBachelor franchise pays your salary!
