Was Ashton Kutcher involved in a famous murder?
Ashton Kutcher appeared in court yesterday in the trial of the infamous Hollywood Ripper. He had a date with Ashley Laron in 2001 to attend an awards show after party but she never showed up. He freaked out and went to police immediately when he found out that she had been killed because he was worried that he would be accused of her murder. He had actually been at her home that day and left fingerprints on her door looking for her. Kutcher testified that he looked in the windows of her apartment and thought he saw red wine stains in an empty apartment so he left.
Jeopardy! Host Alex Trebek has updated his cancer diagnosis and its good news. He reported that his pancreatic cancer tumors have already shrunk by over 50% since he began treatment. Trebek says that his doctors have never seen progress as positive as his and that he is confident that he will beat the odds and survive. Stage four pancreatic cancer patients only have a 3% five-year survival rate. But Trebek says that all of the support he has received from fans is giving him the strength to keep going.
More artists have been announced as performers for the upcoming CMT awards. Brandi Carlile, Brett Young, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Tanya Tucker, Trombone Shorty, Zac Brown Band and Boyz II Men have been added to the lineup, which already included Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, and Thomas Rhett. In addition Maren Morris announced that she will perform a duet with Sheryl Crow. The show will air live on June 5th at 8PM.

Mandy Moore posted pictures of herself at base camp on Mt. Everest after she and a group of friends climbed up to base camp. Moore said “There is so much magic in these mountains. They represent adventure in the grandest form and in a language all their own.”
