Carrie Underwood is being sued for stealing the Sunday Night Football theme song. In 2016 Heidi Merrill wrote a sports themed song called “Game On”. She submitted it to Carrie Underwood’s producer Mark Bright in 2017 but was told the team was passing on it. But then the next year, Underwood came out with a “different” song called “Game On” as the new theme for Sunday Night Football. Mark Bright is also named in the lawsuit, as is NBC itself. Carrie was previously sued twice before by other artists for plagiarism for both “Something In The Water” and her duet “Remind Me” with Brad Paisley.
David Ortiz was apparently not the target in the shooting last week in the Dominican Republic. One of the 11 men now is custody says that he was looking for another person and was told he was wearing white pants, but it was in fact Ortiz wearing the white pants. Ortiz is currently in good condition and recovering in a Massachusetts hospital.
Linsday Lohan’s MTV show “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club” was not renewed for a second season. It has also been reported that the Mykinos club that the show was based upon has already closed. Lindsay says that she is fine with the show not coming back and that she is opening “Lindsayland” which will be her new focus. She also chastised the press for focusing on her failure and suggested that they should go cover some real news like “limbless children”

“Avengers: Endgame” is being re-released into theatres with a few deleted scenes added back in. It currently sits in second place behind “Avatar” as the highest grossing movie of all time, and many are assuming this move is being done just to catch up and attain first place.
