You Think It’s Hot Now? Scientists Say The Future Is Even Hotter!
Can’t stand the heat? Getting out of the kitchen may not help you.
As we prepare for a heat wave this week, climate researchers are telling us, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.” (Not their exact words, but works for dramatic purposes.) According to climate scientist, Kristina Dahl, there will be more intense heatwaves in our future, if actions are not take to combat climate change. Dahl explained that by the year 2050, seeing temperatures over 100 degrees for weeks at a time is on the radar.
