Mike “The Situation” Leaves Prison
At 50 years old, this Jennifer Aniston ays she’s not slowing down anytime soon! She explained in an interview that she’s still determined to broaden her work and accomplish something bigger than her role as Rachel on Friends. Jennifer is starring in Apple’s new series The Morning Show where she played a news anchor whose co-host (Steve Carell) is fired for sexual misconduct. Anniston stated that in her own personal career, she’s never experience any sexual harassment in her own career, just a lot of sexism!
Terrence Howard revealed that he’s done with his acting career and won’t be pursuing any more on camera roles after Empire ends its final season He explained why by saying “I’m done pretending.” Howard didn’t share the reasons why he’s quitting and didn’t even tell people what his future plans are, but he did say that his plans are not philanthropy but instead he says he’s “just focusing on bringing truth to the world.”
Luke Combs made a major announcement yesterday AND released a surprise duet with Brooks and Dunn called 1,2, Many. He announced his upcoming sophomore album is called What You See Is What You Get. The album drops on November 8th!
Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was released from jail yesterday. He was in an upstate federal correctional facility serving an eight month sentence for tax evasion. He tweeted “We truly believe that the comeback is always greater than the setback and we can’t wait to show the world ours. Turn up we free! #freesitch”. Mike and his older brother Marc pleaded guilty in January of 2018 and right before he reported to prison he married his college sweetheart.
Felicity Huffman is slated to be sentenced today for her role in the college admissions scandal! She’s kicking off the penalty portion for the 15 parents who have pled guilty. The judge decided today whether she’s going to jail or NOT. She recently opened up in a parenting blog and it might actually HURT her in her sentencing because of the following quote:
“In my desperation to be a good mother, I talked myself into believing that all I was doing was giving my daughter to be a good mother a fair shot. I see the irony in that statement now because what I have done is the opposite of fair.” We’ll see what happens later today!
SNL added three new comedians to the lineup and is making history by having the show’s first Asian American series regular! His name is Bowen Yang. He’s been on SNL before portraying North Korea’s leader Kin Jong Un, but he will be full time now, as well as Chloe FIneman and Shane Gillis!
56 year old Demi Moore has a memoir coming out called Inside Out. In it she opens up about some pretty personal details. She says that she lost a pregnancy with her ex, Ashton Kutcher in the early 2000’s and she blames her drinking as the reason that she lost the baby. They tried to conceive again through fertility treatments but her drinking got worse and she begain abusing Vicodin. In the book she also accuses Ashton of cheating on her with a 22 year old blonde on the night of their 6th wedding anniversary. The couple divorced in 2013. Inside Out comes out on September 24th.
