The separation statement was sent out from her camp, but he was in Australia at the time and blindsided by the entire thing. He didn’t publicly address the split until days later when he confirmed they separated. Her teams says that they’ve been going south for months and they were also separated for months while his camp is saying that yes, it had been crumbling, but he’d been trying to save the marriage and wasn’t ready to publicly announce it. Either way, he filed for divorce in LA on August 21st.

That was a quick one for SNL newbie Shane Gillis. He was one of the three comedians who received a full time position on the show this week, and just a few days later it’s gone. Why? He made racial slurs in a video that was surfaced. SNL says “We were not aware of his prior remarks that have surfaced over the past few days. The language he used was offensive, hurtful and unacceptable. We are sorry that we did not see these clips earlier, and that our vetting process was not up to our standards.” He apologized to anyone who felt offended by his remarks and also said “I’m a comedian who was funny enough to get SNL. That can’t be taken away.” NO, but what can be taken away is your job Shane. Your Job!
