No, this isn’t me after 1 White Claw, this is Boston Dynamic’s highly functional robot, Spot. BD hopes to lease these robots out to help improve productivity within the workplace. The robots are multi-functional, so their use within the workplace is not necessarily standard throughout each company that chooses to utilize them.
“We’re going to work together with our customers to figure out what robots are good for,” says Marc Raibert, who heads BD. “It’s not like they can do every possible thing, but that doesn’t mean they’re not really good at some things.”
The future is here! Something about the way it moves though scares me if we’re being honest.
