As if we couldn’t…  Those eyes! The longing to please. The unconditional love and attention they give us. Do we really need a day to remember to love our precious pets?

Okay, I’ll bite. I guess it’s like a birthday. Today we could give a little more attention, an extra treat, maybe, or just pour on the pampering. Our furry friends actually do enhance our lives. Studies have shown over and over again, that pets provide stress relief for their owners and help lower blood pressure, not to mention that more love in your life means more happiness!

So spoil away! Whether it’s your cat, dog, ferret, bird or gerbil. Love is love… and that’s all we need.

On a related note, another recent study shows this…

Dog Owners Snap More Pics Of Their Pets Than Their Spouse!

No big surprise here…if you are a dog owner.

Look how cute they are in a bandana! Wait, get the camera, she’s sleeping! How funny is Fido in this Superman sweatshirt? We dress them. We pose them. We just find them irresistible.

Is it any wonder why our phones are filled with pictures of our pets? And when it comes to our spouses… not so much. You would feel weird posing your husband, or dressing him up for a photo. And if you snap a photo of your wife sleeping… she may hurt you! did a recent study that proves our pets are our picks for endless pics! The research acknowledged that 65% of dog owners admit to taking more photos of their beloved pooches than their significant others. The study also revealed that nearly half of those polled find it harder to leave their dog for a week, thank their human at home.

But wait, there’s more. 94% of dog moms and dads consider Fido part of the family! And when we come home from work, who are we most excited to see? Our fur babies, of course!
