Weymouth’s Mighty Quinn Celebrates A Milestone!
As the song goes… “You’ll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn!”
That is the truth.
We came to know Quinn Waters of Weymouth after hearing about his brave battle with medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain stem tumor. He was only 3 years old when he was left homebound for weeks, following treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital. As more people heard about Quinn, they started showing up to say hi and wish him well at his window.
It started with friends and family, and then a cast of famous New England characters came beckoning. From the Bruins’ Charlie Coyle (also from Weymouth), to the Dropkick Murphys and Patriots cheerleaders, many came by that window in Weymouth to cheer on the Mighty Quinn.
Yesterday, Quinn and his family celebrated a milestone! His family posted that it was the 1 year anniversary of the Mighty one’s stem cell transplant!
