Buckingham Palace Gin Is on Sale
Here yee, here yee, an official Buckingham Palace gin is now for sale!
Yes, you heard that right the Queen’s London residence, Buckingham Palace, has released a gin made up of botanicals found right on the palace grounds.
“Lemon, verbena, hawthorn berries and mulberry leaves are among the 12 botanicals hand-picked for the gin in the Gardens at Buckingham Palace,” says the palace website. “Which span 16 hectares and provide a habitat for 30 species of bird and over 250 species of wild flower.”
The new spirit is 42% ABV and can be purchased at Royal Collection shops.
Proceeds from the sale of the gin will benefit the Royal Collection Trust, an organization that helps take care of the Royal Collection.
You’re going to have to go to England to buy it though, and that might be an issue at the moment with travel restrictions.
