Ingrid Andress got her first Grammy nominations yesterday morning (11/24). She is tied for most nominated country artist with three nominations; she is the only country artist nominated in the coveted Best New Artist category along with nods in Best Country Album for Lady Like and Best Country Song for “More Hearts Than Mine.”

Ingrid said after hearing the news, “THIS. CANNOT. BE. REAL. 3 GRAMMY NOMINATIONS ARE YOU KIDDING ME RN????? IM SCREAMING THANK YOU RECORDING ACADEMY AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU,”

Andress shared on social media. “I am truly honored that the music my friends and i write is something you all can relate to. I will never forget this feeling. Thank you thank you thank you.”

Meanwhile, with Thanksgiving just a day away, the country newcomer talked about what she won't be doing on Turkey day with her family. Ingrid shared, “Well, my cousins and I used to play football on the beach every Thanksgiving, but I always ended up leaving early cause I was not into the whole tackling aspect. I feel like once you get tackled you’re like ‘OK, I’m done! That’s it for me’ This was fun until that happened.”
