2020 was certainly a challenging year for all of us. Thankfully, we had music to help get us through. And we all know how therapeutic music can be.
2020 in country music saw the introduction of quite a few newer artists hitting it big, like Gabby Barrett, Hardy, Parker McCollum, Jameson Rodgers, and Ingrid Andress.
Luke Combs reigned supreme for the second year in a row, being named Billboard’s Top Country Artist of the Year, and the Top Male Artist in country. According to the respected publication, their year end music chart “recaps represent aggregated metrics for each artist, title, label and music contributor on the weekly charts dated Nov. 23, 2019, through Nov. 14, 2020.”
Maren Morris was queen, again this year, taking the title of Billboard’s #1 female country artist of 2020, in addition to the #4 overall country artist.
And now for this year’s Top 10… (drum roll, please)
Congrats to Lee Brice for being the only artist to hit twice inside the Top 10!
Blake Shelton was sure happy to share the news with his fiance, Gwen Stefani!
