Johnson & Johnson’s single shot vaccine offers strong protection against severe COVID-19, according to an analysis released Wednesday by U.S. regulators. The report confirmed that overall the vaccine is about 66% effective at preventing moderate to severe COVID-19. The FDA says that this single-dose shot is safe and effective, but they have not made a final decision yet on if it is ready to be offered as a vaccine option.
