(Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images)Boston Red Sox legend, Big Papi, David Ortiz, has meant a lot for the game of baseball, and for the people of New England. He's been there for us, on the field since 2004, helping to bring Red Sox fans our first World Series Championship in 86 years. After the Boston Marathon Bombings, he was there for us, with his whole heart, his large presence and big spirit, guiding us with words we needed to hear, and will never forget.
Now, Big Papi finally gets his big weekend, with an induction into baseball's Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Yesterday, he boarded a private jet over at Hanscom Air Force Base, before taking off for his Hall of Fame Induction ceremony this weekend, he spoke to the press.
