Today, according to NESN and many other news outlets, the 2018 World Series Winning outfielder, MVP and Gold Glove Award winner , JBJ will come off the 40 man roster. DFA means he can either be traded or the longtime Sox player can be placed on waivers within 7 days. If that happens he could be sent to the minor leagues or even released from the organization entirely. The Red Sox announced Jackie Bradley Jr is being designated for assignment.
