The Trailer For Ben Affleck And Matt Damon’s Movie ‘Air’ Just Dropped

The Boston boys are back on screen together in their new movie, ‘Air.’ The film will portray Phil Knight (played by Ben Affleck) and Sonny Vaccaro (played by Matt Damon) and the rise of Nike. The rest of the cast is pretty impressive too! Starring Jason Bateman, Viola Davis, Marlon Wayans and Chris Tucker (who will played Howard White, a Nike Executive).

‘Air‘ is based on Phil Knight and Sonny Vaccaro bringing basketball legend, Michael Jordan, to Nike. Nike was launched in 1972. But, it wasn’t until Michael Jordan signed with the company in 1984 that it became the powerhouse brand that it is today. ‘Air’ will be about that story.

There’s a lot of excitement about this film. This be one of only a few films that Ben and Matt appear on screen together. And the real, 83-year-old Sonny Vaccaro is excited about the movie too. “I’m 83 years old. It was complete surprise to me. It’s an unbelievable honor and I believe in what they’re going to do is going to be the truth on the film,” said Vaccaro in October of 2022.
