ConstructConnect Announces AEC Cares Project Will Benefit Catholic Charities Boston

ConstructConnect, a founding partner of the nonprofit organization AEC Cares, announced on Thursday, March 27, that this year's AEC Cares project will benefit Catholic Charities Boston. On Wednesday, June 4, more than 100 volunteers will come together to renovate The Catholic Charities Teen Center at St. Peter's.

The Teen Center serves adolescents in Dorchester's Bowdoin-Geneva neighborhood during after-school hours and throughout the summer months. Program and staff support provided through the Teen Center aim to increase teens' self-esteem while giving them the necessary tools for academic and personal growth and their future success.

The renovation of the Teen Center aims to elevate a space that offers resources to empower at-risk youth, boost education, and provide a safe place for teens in need.

"The ConstructConnect team and AEC Cares Board are thrilled to support Catholic Charities' longstanding history of service to the youth and families of Boston," said Jennifer Johnson, ConstructConnect chief product officer and AEC Cares board president, in a media announcement. "Through generous donations from our partner organizations and volunteers, we hope to make meaningful contributions to the well-being of youth served throughout the year at The Catholic Charities Teen Center."
