The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department has announced its popular annual outdoor festival, Discover WILD New Hampshire Day, is set for Saturday, April 19. The free community event will take place rain or shine from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, in Concord. Admission is free.

"Celebrating 36 years of connecting you to life outdoors, Discover WILD New Hampshire Day is a fun way for the whole family to explore New Hampshire's wildlife resources and outdoor traditions," said the Fish and Game Department in a news release

Members of the public are invited to explore educational exhibits by conservation and environmental organizations from across the state. Live animals, large fish, and trained falcons will be available for visits. Guests can also experiment with archery, casting, fly-tying, and B-B gun firing. Demonstrations involving retriever dogs, hands-on craft activities for children, and on-site food trucks will round out the program offerings.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department hosts Discover WILD New Hampshire Day. The event is presented by the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire, Fish and Game's nonprofit partner.
