See The Big Papi Corn Maze In Plympton, Massachusetts!
Oh sure, it's farming. But it's also art. And it's a lot of hard work. Sauchuk Farm in Plympton, MA is ready for the unveiling of their 2022 corn maze. Starting this Saturday, September 17 and continuing through October 30, you can see farm owner Scott Sauchuk and his team's work of art. This year, it's a David Ortiz tribute. Sauchuk told CBS News Boston "It's David Ortiz with his signature pointing to the sky and the number 34 on his jersey. There's a baseball diamond out there with a baseball and a 'HOF' standing for Hall of Fame 2022." The farm has been doing these corn maze's since 2007. Previous projects have included a Tom Brady maze, and a tribut to the Girl Scouts. The brain storming for maze ideas starts up in the winter, usually February and March, according to Sauchuk. The farmer relayed to CBS, "And then we plant it in the middle of June." He also warned to those wanting to visit and make their way through this field of dreams, "We will be sold out pretty much every day from our past experience." Tickets and more information are available HERE. Take a look at this year's maze, and some of Sauchuk's earlier work below! It's truly ah-maze-ing!
