If you watched top college football athletes perform at the NFL combine back in March you probably noticed the word “NOBULL” branded across their performance gear. Whether sporting a sweatshirt during a press conference or the agile workout attire, NOBULL had each aspiring draftee covered as the official combine training partner of the NFL. Now Boston’s NOBULL will have a strong presence at the NFL draft on Thursday.
Top quarterback prospect, Will Levis from Kentucky is officially a NOBULL sponsored athlete. The same holds true for Deuce Vaughn, a running back out of Kansas State. Both are expected to hear their names called. Furthermore, many analysts believe Levis will be a top 1o pick.
Boston Roots
NOBULL started in Boston in 2015 with co-founders Michael Schaeffer and Marcus Wilson looking to focus on the growing CrossFit space. Both had come from Reebok and were passionate about creating a performance brand that met the simple needs of those engaging in CrossFit style training. The creative vision was simple – to have a durable product that supports the movements and style of athletes in their niche.
In August of 2021, NOBULL officially partnered with Patriots’ quarterback Mac Jones. A year later, NOBULL and the NFL entered into a five-year agreement for NOBULL to be the Presenting Sponsor of the NFL Combine. This includes being the official outfitter.
Sponsoring the NFL combine for the first time this year, NOBULL not only supplied each athlete with the footwear and apparel they would need, but also created a state-of-the art warm-up area for them to utilize onsite. This included a gym and a recovery lounge for prospects. Combine athletes never had that amenity before.
With their existing partnerships with the Patriots, Jones and now the combine, NOBULL is quickly becoming a force growing out of the New England area. They have secured a new headquarters on Morrissey Boulevard (formerly the home of the Boston Globe) in Dorchester and plan to occupy the state-of-the-art space later this year.
