Looking for things to do in Boston? Well….

If you have lived in the Boston area for any amount of time you may have noticed that it seems like a ghost town late at night. If New York City is the City that never sleeps Boston is the city with over-bearing parochial parents who enforce a very strict bedtime. However, maybe you are the type of kid who wasn’t above tying the bed-sheets together and escaping out of your bedroom window in the middle of the night. If so this list of things is right up your alley!

  • 8. Go for a bike ride

Especially in the summer the best time to ride a bike may be in the middle of the night. Just look out for drunks! (Also don’t be a drunk on a bike. No one wants to see that).

  • 7. Plane watching at the Seaport

This was suggested by a user on reddit. “Park at the seaport by the cruise dock and do plane watching. There are apps that tell you which plane is overhead and where it came from and where it’s going. Might be fun to do a guessing game and then look up the planes.”

  • 6. Go fishing

Castle Island, Revere Beach, Quincy there are lots of places you could go fishing at night in Boston. You might end up hooking something besides a fish, but that’s fun too!

  • 5. Doughboy

This South Boston staple is a favorite of our current Secretary of Transportation and anyone else who has craved food and company in the late night hours.

  • 4. Bovas

Anyone who has been to the North End knows that you can’t get bad pastry there. But did you know you can get it 24 hours? That’s where Bovas comes in!

  • 3. South Street Diner

Not just a staple of Boston night life but a historic one!  Seating is limited but the experience is memorable.

  • 2. Boston Bowl

Ever wanted to know what it would be like to go to a rave at a bowling alley? Well the closest you can get is Boston Bowl in Dorchester. Check out Atomic Bowling for the ultimate experience!

  • 1. "Cold Tea" in Chinatown

If you know you know. I’m legally required to not say any more about this.
