The simple things are truly the best things in life. Take for instance, the grilled cheese sandwich. It’s simply 2 pieces of bread, some cheese and some butter in a pan. But it’s warming hearts all over the world, at this very moment. What is it about a grilled cheese sandwich? Is it the fact that our mothers made these delectable delights for us as kids, and poured on the love with every turn in the pan? Clearly, there’s a lot of love for the lunch staple. So let’s find out exactly where we can get the best of the best. Check out these 9 hot spots in Massachusetts to get the best grilled cheese sandwiches

Everyone loves their own grilled cheese creation, but frankly, mine is the best. At least, my kids have told me that. But it’s always more fun to have someone else cook, serve and clean up. So, I enlisted the help of some notable sources, from Boston Magazine, to the Food Lens, and Boston Eater. In addition, I used my own experience and put together a list of 9 hot spots in Massachusetts to get the best grilled cheese sandwiches. Say cheese…and  yes, please!
